I’m Collin, a UX Designer and Information Architect based in Chicago and New Orleans. In the past, I’ve working on everything from complex VST instruments to stylish charity fundraiser sites; niche e-commerce sites to a cat bowl made specifically for flat-faced breeds. I’m a skeptical optimist and like taking complex problems and finding elegant, digestible solutions.

I graduated from Emily Carr University of Art & Design in Vancouver, British Columbia in 2014 after studying Art History, with a focus on urban planning and architecture. After graduating, I found myself continuing to think about problems of structure, navigation, and accessibility. One day I had a thought: the world of websites, apps and software could be the new cities, and their designers the architects and planners. I couldn't stop noticing bad design in my everyday life and decided to put my background to use in the digital realm.

In my free time, you’ll find me reading about art and design, trying funky wines and sake, geeking out over rare disco records, and playing with synthesizers.

I’m open to solving all sorts of problems in the UX/UI fields, let me know if you have one!
